Kidney Karnival Sensory Gazebo Hire

On Sunday we had the great pleasure of being hired by Kidney’s For Life for the 2026 Kidney Karnival at the Etihad Campus Manchester Tennis & Football Centre. With our Sensory Gazebo and Tickle Tent to provide a calm SEN friendly space.

Kidney Karnival is an inclusive and free family fun day that all the children under the care of the Renal department at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital were invited to attend.

Kidney disease affects people of all ages, and while treatments such as dialysis and transplants exist, there is currently no cure. It is a lifelong disease. At the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, the kidney department cares for over 180 children living with severe kidney disease. These children and their families spend countless hours in and out of hospital, missing out on normal childhood experiences. The damage of a broken childhood and living with a chronic illness has lasting effects long into adulthood. So holding a free fun-day for the children / families is extremely important.

Our Sensory Gazebo was a huge hit at the event, providing a calming and therapy space for the children within the busy sporting event. We also provided our Tickle Tent for the children to run through and enjoy.
